Nashville erreichte uns das Debutalbum von Angela Dawn. Ihr Karrierebeginn ist
durchaus mit dem anderer amerikanischer Countrykünstler vergleichbar: sie begann
mit 9 Jahren in der Kirche zu singen, ein Jahr später absolvierte sie eine
Stimmausbildung. Bereits mit 13 Jahren tourte sie mit ersten Bands.
Angela Dawn unterscheidet sich deutlich von dem, was zur Zeit an Countryladies in Nashville angeboten wird: sie ist nicht weichgespült, sondern rauh und strahlt eine Menge Lebenserfahrung aus. Als Songbeispiele von ihrer CD sind „Tootsie“, ein Walzer als Widmung an den Saloon „Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge“ in Nashville sowie „White House Tennesse“ zu nennen, das sie ihrer großen Liebe Jim Varney gewidmet hat, der im Jahre 2000 gestorben ist.
