Ja, hier gibt's mal etwas besonderes: Musik, wie man sie eigentlich kaum noch zu hören bekommt. Gerade ältere Countryfans, die sich noch an den Countrysound der 80er erinnern können, werden bei der CD "Global Cowboy" von Brent Moyer auf ihre Kosten kommen. Der Sänger und Songwriter, der früher Gitarrist der Lynn Anderson Band war, präsentiert Country mit Herz und Gefühl. Einigen Songs merkt man Ansätze des alten Nashville-Sounds an, während andere wieder moderner inspiriert sind. Unsere Favoriten? Auf jeden Fall "King & Queen Of Tomorrow" (ein sehr schöner Chacha), der in die Beine gehende Twostep "Devil's Right Hand" (mit dem Steve Earl-Titel weder verwandt noch verschwägert) und "Hillbilly Wine" (der sich hierzulande als Werbesong für Jack Daniel's durchsetzen könnte), die es leider auf der Homepage seiner Plattenfirma nicht als Hörprobe gibt. Dafür könnt Ihr Euch die ebenfalls gelungenen "Wind, Water, Fire & Time", "Restless" (das Duett mit Joe Sun) und das ruhige "Must Be Paradise" anhören. Künstler und Songwriter wie Brent Moyer sind selten geworden in einer Country-Musikwelt, die nur noch nach den Plazierungen in den Billboard Charts schielt.

This singer and songwriter who was a guitarist in the Lynn Anderson Band in former times, presents music straight from the heart. In some songs you can find parts of the old Nashville sound, while other got a more modern spirit. Our favorites? Well, try "King & Queen Of Tomorrow" (a nice little cha cha), the twostep "Devil's Right Hand" (not the Steve Earle one!) which will make your feet move or "Hillbilly Wine", a great "commercial" for Jack Daniel's. These songs can't be heard at the website of his record company, but you can listen to other good ones like"Wind, Water, Fire & Time", "Restless" (a duet together with Joe Sun) and the soft "Must Be Paradise".
