Der in Sheenboruogh Quebec, einer kleinen irischen Gemeinde in Kanada aufgewachsene Dominic D'Arcy trat mit seiner Musik bereits rund um die Welt in Ländern wie England, Barbados, der ehemaligen Sowjetunion sowie in China auf. Der "Singing Policeman" engagiert sich neben der Musik im Kampf gegen Alkohol- und Drogenmissbrauch durch Jugendliche.
