Von Evelyn Conner, einer Vertreterin der in den USA sehr populären Richtung Christian Country“ (christliche Countrymusik) erreichte uns ihr Album „Songs We Loved“. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann Mike tourt sie zur Zeit mit ihrem Programm durch die Kirchen der amerikanischen Ostküste bis hinein nach Mississippi. Von der North American Country Music Associations International (NACMAI) wurde sie als „Female Entertainer of the Year“ und „Female Vocalist of the Year“ in der Kategorie Gospel ausgezeichnet.

Evelyn Conner, a representant of Christian Country (very popular especially in the USA) sent us her album “Songs We Loved”. Together with her husband  Mike she’s touring at this time through the churches at the American east coast up to Mississippi. She received the awards „Female Entertainer of the Year“ and „Female Vocalist of the Year“ in the gospel category by the North American Country Music Associations International (NACMAI).

Listening to her cd Evelyn Conner’s soft and warm voice surely sounds best at slow songs like „There Ain’t No Grave Gonna Hold My Body Down“, „He Thought We Were Worth Cavalry“ or especially at the wonderful spoken “John 3:16”.
