Hey, wer von Euch mag den "Hard Stuff" der Country Music? Gute Drums? Harte E-Gitarren? Eine rauhe Frauenstimme, die an die von Bonnie Tyler oder Suzie Quatro erinnert? Ok, wir haben hier was für Euch: Gitty Fisher, eine in Bayern geborene Sängerin, die bereits seit einigen Jahren im Musikgeschäft tätig ist. 1996 gründete sie die Band "Gitty's Gang", welche schon bald Hausband der bayrischen Westernstadt Pullman City in Eging am See wurde. 2003 siegte sie bei den Pullman City Awards, und nun liegt ihre neueste Promotion-CD "You Are My Rock" vor, mit der sie auf das im August 2004 erscheinende Album aufmerksam machen möchte. Das ist ihr auch gelungen: es ist eine der qualitativ hochwertigsten deutschen Produktionen, die wir seit langem gehört haben. Unter der Mitwirkung der Thompson Brothers und Daniel T.Coates sowie mit Iris Paech als Songwriterin präsentiert Gitty Fisher "The Hard Side of Country Music". Besonders der Titelsong "You Are My Rock" und "Cadillac Grove", aber auch das langsamere "Blame It On You" dürfte besonders den Countryfans gefallen, die weniger von einem Ritt auf einem Quarterhorse als viel mehr von einem Trip auf einer Goldwing träumen. Exzellenter Countryrock, der nicht nur Countryfans sondern auch Rockfreunde begeistern dürfte - ein "Crossover"-Versuch, der anspricht.

O.k., here's something for you: Gitty Fisher, a Bavaria born singer who already is in business for several years. In 1996 she founded her first band "Gitty's Gang" which soon became the house band of the Bavarian western town Pullman City in Eging am See. She won the Pullman City Award 1n 2003 and now she presents her latest promotion cd "You Are My Rock" to present her new album which will be published in August 2004. Well, it's true: that's one of the finest German productions concerning high quality we've heard for a long time. Working together with the Thompson Brothers and Daniel T.Coates as well as with songwriter Iris Paech Gitty Fisher presents "The Hard Side of Country Music". Our favorites are the title song "You Are My Rock" and "Cadillac Grove", but also the slower "Blame It On You" and these songs will stick mostly to those guys who dream of riding a Goldwing instead of a quarterhorse.
