Nun, zumindest letzteres könnte passieren, wenn man dies mit dem Album „Gentle Rain“ von Josh Logan aus Kentucky tun würde. Der Musikstil des ehemaligen Automechanikers liegt voll im guten alten Honkytonk-Ressort, und dem Sänger hört man seine selbst genannten Vorbilder George Jones und Merle Haggard durchaus an. Josh Logan hat bereits drei Tourneen durch die USA und Auftritte in vier anderen Ländern hinter sich.

Musikalisch überwiegen auf seinem Album die ruhigen Töne. Besonders ragen der Titelsong „Gentle Rain“, das langsame „She Took Everything But Me“ sowie der 3-Step „Drinkin’ Overtime“ in dieser Produktion hervor.
