Rockabilly-Fans aufgepaßt: das neue Album der Lennerockers aus Deutschland ist auf dem Markt. Und wir können Euch sagen, es rockt gewaltig. Das Album „Live In Berlin“ wurde während ihres Auftritts bei der Country Music Messe 2004 am 7. Februar 2004 im Berliner Fontanehaus aufgenommen und man muß den Hut vor der Qualität dieser Liveaufnahme ziehen! Ein Klang, der problemlos auch für unsere Radiosendungen tauglich ist. Dort werdet Ihr demnächst auch einige ihrer rockenden und rollenden Songs hören: Titel wie „Hot Rod Baby“, „Crazy Little Teddy Girl“ im Chubby Checker-Style oder das exzellente „Rattlesnake Cafe“ und andere. Dazu gibt es noch den Studio-Bonustrack „Rockin’ On A Sea Cruise“, der sich um ihre diesjährige Mittelmeer-Jubiläumskreuzfahrt (20 Jahre Lennerockers) dreht. Songbeispiele gibt es auf der Homepage der Lennerockers leider nicht, aber natürlich könnt Ihr das Album dort oder anlässlich eines ihrer Auftritte käuflich erwerben. Pay attention, folks: there’s the new album of the German R’n’R band The Lennerockers coming to you. And – wow – it’s a mighty rockin’ one! This new production “Live In Berlin” has been recorded on February 7th, 2004 at the Country Music Messe 2004 (an annual country music fan fair) during their live performance in the Fontanehaus in Berlin. By the way, we’ve got to say “Congratulations” to the recording team producing such a top sound quality to be used in our radio shows without any problem. This might be a good way to get some impressions of some of their rockin’ and rollin’ songs like „Hot Rod Baby“, „Crazy Little Teddy Girl“ in Chubby Checker style or the excellent „Rattlesnake Café” and others. Added you can find the studio bonus track “Rockin’ On A Sea Cruise” concerning their Mediterranean jubilee sea cruise (20 years of Lennerockers) this year. You won’t find any sound examples from their new cd on the Lennerocker’s website but you can surely by their album there or at a live performance of these guys.
