"Long Time Coming"

Mark Gandy’s Leben besteht nahezu vollständig aus Musik. Seit seinem 5. Lebensjahr erhielt er Klavierunterricht und trat mit Marching Bands, Schulchören, Jazzensembles sowie in der Kirche auf. U.a. wurde er mit dem John Patrick Award für Instrumentalmusik sowie als Outstanding Pianist geehrt. 1990-92 spielte er als Bassist mit der Rockband „Final Crossing“ und trat dann als Bassist und Sänger der Countryband „Thunder Rose Band“ bei. „Mit der Dixie Highway Band“ produzierte er das erste Studioalbum „Long Time Coming“, das uns von Comstock Records zugesandt wurde. Seine CD ist bemerkenswert abwechslungsreich:  mal rockorientiert im Hank Williams jr.-Stil, mal balladenhaft. The life of Mark gandy is nearly filled up with music. He received piano lessons being five years old and played in several marching bands, school choirs, jazz ensemble and in churches. Among others he received the John Patrick Award for Instrumental Music as well as the Outstanding Piano Honor. After being a bass player in the rockband “Final Crossing” from 1990-92 he played and sang in the countryband “Thunder Rose Band”. With his next band “Mark Gandy & His Dixie Highway Band” he produced his first studio album “Long Time Coming” sent to us by Comstock Records. This cd shows a remarkable variety of different styles: sometimes it’s country rock in Hank-Williams-jr.-style, sometimes it’s more quiet.
