While listening to the demo cd of The Mississippian we immediately thought: "Well, this is someone making music straight from the heart!". 28-year-old Achim from Southern Germany, also known as the Mississippian, developed his love for the Mississippi state while making a trip to it forcing the songwriter into a new musical direction. His style is deeply influenced by country rock and blues elements. We're really interested in visiting one of his unplugged performances and were impressed by his voice especially listening to his slower ballads.
