The Waybacks

Als uns das Album "Burger After Church" der Band The Waybacks von Comstock Records erreichte, überlegten wir beim erstmaligen Anhören, welcher Kategorie dieser Sound eigentlich angehört. Die DJs vom Country Special Radio Berlin einigten sich schließlich auf die neue Gattung "Swinggrass".

Ein äußerst vielseitiges Album dieser Band von der Westküste der USA. Man hört eine Kombination aus Bluegrass, Jazz, Swing, Celtic und vielen anderen Elementen.

Musik, die in die Beine geht und Songs, die nicht mehr aus dem Ohr gehen.

When we received this album "Burger After Church" of the Band "The Waybacks" by Comstock Records, we discussed after hearing it for the first time, what kind of sound it is. The djs of Country Special Radio Berlin found a new word for this kind of music: "swing grass".

A really fascinating album of this band coming from the westcoast of the USA. You hear a combination of bluegrass, jazz, swing, celtic and other musical elements.
