Hey, hier gibt’s wirklich mal was ganz spezielles. Wir hören
ja bestimmt eine ganze Menge Country-CDs, aber dieses
ist
eines der besten, das wir seit langem erhalten haben. Travis Caudell, 1974 in
Lawton, Oklahoma geboren, liefert hier eine CD ab, die (mit dem entsprechenden
Werbeaufwand) gute Chancen auf Spitzenplätze in den Billboard Country Charts
hätte und auch in Deutschland die Aufmerksamkeit der deutschen Countryszene
erregen könnte.
Travis Caudell war bereits Opening Act für Künstler wie Darryl Singletary, Hal Ketchum, Rick Trevino und andere und beweist auf seinem Album eine enorme musikalische Vielfalt. Auf seiner Homepage wird leider nur darauf hingewiesen, dass man bald in seine Songs hineinhören könne. Ihr solltet das wirklich öfter mal überprüfen, denn Lieder wie der Titelsong „Treat Me Like A Dog“, der Texas-Swing „Modern Day Jezebel“ oder der schnelle Skip „You’re The One“ machen einfach hungrig auf mehr.
Auf jeden Fall werdet Ihr an den Diskotheken des Country Special Radio Berlin einiges von ihm zu hören bekommen. Er ist einfach sooooooooooooo gut!!!
