Eine junge 21jährige Countrykünstlerin von der Ostküste der USA, Danielle, hat 2002 ihr Album „Touch My Life“ veröffentlicht. Diese Produktion ist eindeutig New Country-orientiert, die Songs stammen von namhaften Songwritern wie Steve Wilkinson, Charlie Craig, Brittany Allyn und anderen. Stimmlich erinnert sie zeitweise an Shania Twain (so in der wundervollen Ballade „Out Of My Mind“) oder an die Dixie Chicks (in „Shooting Candles At The Moon“), andererseits fühlt man sich bei Liedern wie „That’s Enough Of That“ oder „Touch The Sky“ an Tanya Tucker erinnert. Ihre klare und kräftige Stimme ist eindeutig ein musikalischer Genuß, und mit ihrem Musikmix hat sie eindeutig gute Chance, in absehbarer Zeit bei einem Mayorlabel zu landen. Für alle Freunde des New Country ist dies ein äußerst interessantes Album – Danielle könnte zu einem der nächsten Countrylady-Shootingstars der Musikszene in Nashville werden.
