Auf der „Country Live 2004“ in Kassel lernten wir einen äußerst interessanten Sänger kennen: Dusty, dessen Stimme man durchaus der Qualität amerikanischer Künstler zuordnen kann. Seine Debut-CD „That’s Me“ aus dem Jahre 2004 beinhaltet vier Coversongs, die einfach großartig sind. „Coming Home“ (geschrieben von Don Jensen, ehemaliger Leadsänger der deutschen Band Nighthawk), der Garth Brooks-Song „Don’t Cross The River“, „Living In A House Full Of Love“ von Glen Campbell sowie „My List“ – schön, dass es in Deutschland auch noch solch hochwertige Countryproduktionen gibt. Eine Homepage ist im Aufbau, daher hier unser Geheimtip für die langen dunklen Wintertage: Eine Email an Dusty schreiben, die CD bestellen, zuhause in den CD-Player legen, die Wiederholungstaste drücken – und den Blues wegtanzen.
At the German country music fan fair „Country Live 2004“ we met the real interesting singer Dusty. Boy, you surely can compare his voice quality with several American guys. His dbut cd “That’s Me”published in 2004 contains four simply great cover songs: “Coming Home” (written by Don Jensen, the former lead singer of the German band “Nighthawk), the Garth Brooks song “Don’t Cross The River”, “Living In A House Full Of Love” original sung by Glen Campbell and “My List”- it’s fantastic to find such a high quality country music production in Germany, too.
