"Between The Lines"

Nachdem bereits seine CD "On The Other Side" in Deutschland wie eine Bombe einschlug, hat Mandy Strobel nun 2005 sein neuestes Album "Between The Lines" veröffentlicht. Es steht seinem Überraschungserfolg in nichts nach. Auch diese CD überzeugt durch eine hervorragende aufnahmetechnische Qualität, durch großartige Duette (so im ruhigen 3 Step "Hank's Songs" mit Lana Brown, in "Courage To Say Goodbye"  (toller Text!) mit Diane Gentes oder in der schönen Ballade "Shadow Of A Fool" mit Brandon Wolfe) und vor allem durch die unnachahmliche Stimme von Mandy selbst. Endlich mal wieder ein Countryinterpret, den man bereits nach wenigen Tönen an der Stimme wieder erkennt und keine radiotauglich getrimmte Country-Massenware. "Peace Of Mind", "Margaritas Made In Hell" - die CD ist einfach insgesamt großartig, und es ist wirklich schade, daß deutsche Alltags-Radiosender solche hervorragenden Songs immer noch ignorieren. Wer also Lust auf wirklich gut gemachte Countrymusic hat, sollte sich schnell die CD von Mandy Strobel besorgen, sich damit in eine ruhige Ecke zurückziehen, sie einschalten und einfach nur genießen. Ein Album, das den Hunger nach echtem Countrysound wieder einmal stillen kann.

After his cd "On The Other Side" already became a huge success, now in 2005 Mandy Strobel has published his latest album "Between The Lines". Well, it's straight on the way of his last one. Again this cd shows a real excellent technical quality, great duets (try the quiet three step "Hank's Songs" with Lana Brown, "Courage To Say Goodbye" (top lyrics!) with Diane Gentes or the beautiful ballad "Shadow Of A Fool" featuring Brandon Wolfe) and  - of course - and the true unique voice of Mandy himself. This is an artist to be recognized after hearing only a few tunes and no country mass production trimmed to be played by "Sha-Na-Na" radio stations. "Peace Of Mind", "Margaritas Made In Hell" - this whole album is simply great and it's a pity that most of the German radio stations still ignore such excellent songs.
