Stevie Cee

Stevie Cee wirkte als Kind in der Minstrel Show seines Vaters mit und hatte einen Gastauftritt im örtlichen TV Programm Youth Cavalcade. Während er zunächst noch verschiedene musikalische Stilrichtungen liebte, entdeckte er 1997 sein Herz für die Countrymusik. Bei der Down East Country Music Association, in der er Mitglied ist, wurde er als „Modern Male Entertainer“ ausgezeichnet. Es folgten zahlreiche weitere Awards, so z.B. der „Comedy Award“ des Northeast Invitational Country Showdown. 2002 erhielt er eine persönlich wichtige Ehrung, den „Dick Curless Memorial Award“ der Down East Country Music Association.

Bereits 2000 war Stevie Cee gemeinsam mit anderen Musikern auf einer Europatournee in den Niederlanden, Belgien und Dänemark zu Gast. Im Januar 2003 kam sein aktuelles Gospelalbum „I Heard My Father’s Voice“ auf den Markt.

Inzwischen ist Stevie Cee Vizepräsident der Down East Country Music Association, hat 3 Alben aufgenommen und kann u.a. auf Auftritte im Louise Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge und im Nashville Palace in Nashville, TN zurückblicken.

Das uns zugesandte Promotion-Album überzeugt  durch einen durchgehenden schönen Texas Swing-Stil. Besonders hervorzuheben seien „If It Worn’t For Mumma“, das ruhige „What Do You See In Me“ und der tanztaugliche „Mercy Train“.

As a child Stevie Cee performed at his dad’s minstrel show and was a guest at the local tv program Youth Calvacade. Playing different music styles at first, he felt in love with country music in 1997. Being a member of the Down East Country Music Association, he received “Modern Male Entertainer” followed by several other awrds including the “Comedy Award” of the Northeast Invitational Country Showdown. In 2002 he received the „Dick Curless Memorial Award” of the Down East Country Music Association, which was a big honour for him.

In 2000 Stevie Cee took part in a European tour with several other artists visiting The Netherland, Belgium and Denmark. In January 2003 his latest album (the first gospel album) “I Heard My Father’s Voice” was released.

By the time Stevie Cee is vice president of the Down East Country Music Association, he recorded 3 albums and had performances at the Louis Mandrell Theater in Pigeon Forge and in the Nashville Palace in Nashville, TN.

The promotion album Stevie Cee sent us shows excellent western swing songs, especially “If It Worn’t For Mumma”, the slow “What Do You See In Me” and one for all dancing freaks, “Mercy Train”.
