Tammy Dee Gislason

If you love cowboy songs and I you love to hear cowboymusic like being on a barbeque on a Texan Ranch, the album “Sunshine Cowgirl” by the 24years old Canadian singer Tammy Gislason might be the one you waited for. Born in Innisfail, Alberta this singer and songwriter started her career being 5 years old. After singing New Country music for several years she switched to cowboy & western songs to remember the Canadian cowboy culture. She was crowned „Miss Calgary 1997“,„Miss Oktoberfest Red Deer 1999“ and „Miss Red Deer 2000“ and was a guest at the Global TV „Breakfast Show“ in Calgary as well as a „Young Albertan“ at the Alberta Allied Arts Association 1996.
Her latest album “Sunshine Cowgirl” might be the one to be played on lots of ranch festivals in Germany if only more people knew it. Special tips by the djs of CSR-Berlin: listen to the waltz “Chime Bells”, the Hank Williams song “Jambalaya” and “Prairie Range” presenting an excellent text to the old Patsy Montana title „I Wanna Be A Cowboy’s Sweetheart“. It would be a highlight for the German country music scene to hear this artist live on stage in our country.
